I have said for many years that The Law of Collaboration is in fact a Universal Law and there are a number of ways to tap in to that law and capitalise on being a contributor to The Disruptive Author.

The magazine is the perfect way to collaborate and generate consistent energy and attention for each of us as individuals and also for all of us as a whole.

It is an opportunity for us to pool our networks, introduce other Disruptive Authors to our personal networks, and be introduced to their networks as well.

It is the ultimate win-win, and the magazine’s target readers – women who love reading, writing and living life on purpose – also win because they are being entertained and educated on all the wonderful things you all do in your areas of genius.

That makes it a win-win-win.  No one loses from this venture.

Scroll down for a list of things you can do to make the most of your experience as a contributor.

20 WAYS TO MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS

Here are some things you can do to maximise the potential to you and your business, whether that be selling your book or leading readers to your products or services with your book.

These ideas are to show you how you can take full advantage of the opportunity without spamming anyone.  Even if you pick 3 of these and do them consistently it will help your business and help everyone else as well, while they help you by doing the same thing.

  1. Let people know about the magazine.
  2. Let people know you are a contributing author to a magazine.
  3. Share each issue of the magazine with your networks every time it comes out just to let them know it is out.
  4. Always provide a link for anyone in your network to subscribe where they will gain access to all issues immediately: https://www.subscribepage.com/b5a9q0
  5. Make sure you have your own mailing list set up and that we have the link in your column so that everyone who reads the magazine can join your mailing list.
  6. Share it in any groups you are in – anywhere where there are women who love reading, writing and living life on purpose, including women in small business.
  7. Contribute consistently and let readers get to know, like and trust you.
  8. Make sure you like The Disruptive Author Magazine page at https://www.facebook.com/thedisruptiveauthormagazine and that you are receiving notifications.
  9. When your article is posted on The Disruptive Author Magazine page make sure you share that post to your networks as well.
  10. If you think your network would appreciate and get value from some of the other contributors then share their contributions as well when we post them on the page.
  11. Share posts from The Disruptive Author Magazine page in your story.
  12. Like the posts when we share the other author’s contributions.  We post approximately 3 times a week.
  13. Put a sign up link to the magazine on your website and/or on your facebook page.
  14. Add that you work at The Disruptive Author Magazine in your personal bio on Facebook.
  15. Add the sign up link and the fact that you are a contributor to your email signature.
  16. Collaborate with other authors from the magazine whose businesses/topics are complimentary to yourself.  You could do podcasts or Facebook lives or workshops or blogs, together and for each other’s networks to add value to your readers.
  17. Do a survey and ask the women in your networks for their help in deciding what to write about in your columns.  This will generate interest in what you are doing.
  18. Ask people in your network to share the magazine and your column in their networks.
  19. Tell your email list about the magazine each month.  That leaves only 3 other blogs/newsletters you have to write each month to maintain a weekly mailout to build your relationship with your list.
  20. Let your list and your networks know about any other new books that are coming out to support each other and spread the word for each other.

These are just a few ideas.  Please pick at least 3 things from the list you can do and do them consistently for each issue and it will make a difference to all of us, but especially to you.

Even if you posted once per month – simply share the issue launch announcement from The Disruptive Author Magazine page – to let your networks know the magazine is out you would be helping yourself and the rest of the authors while bringing value to the women in your networks.

Then, if you also shared the post from The Disruptive Author magazine when your article is posted and promoted that would be two times each month when you are promoting the magazine and letting people know how to access it.

If you then sent the link to the magazine to your list each time it is launched that would make 3 times a month you are promoting it.

These things will have a huge impact.  Especially when we know we are all doing it and we are all being promoted to each other’s lists and networks.

If you have any other ideas please share them with us so we can all participate.

Thank you for your contributions. We truly appreciate working with you. xx
