Having a Counselling background I know the power of being able to own your story and process through it in a way that brings healing to your heart and freedom to your soul.
And I know so many women who really, really want to be free and step out from the shadows of their pain.
As a Publisher I also have a good understanding of the power of storytelling as a means to educate and initiate growth for others, so at the end of the program I offer each participant opportunities to have their stories published.
Having your story published is a powerfully symbolic act of owning where you have come from and affirming where you are going and it has the potential to inspire others to take their own healing journey.
This is what we will cover in the program:
Lesson 1 The FERN Process
The FERN Process is the specific process I created and have used in my counselling practice for years. It is a simple yet powerful tool for gaining a deeper understanding of our pain – where it is coming from, what it is exactly, and what it needs from us in order for us to be able to heal and move on, free from any emotional baggage.
In this lesson you will learn how the FERN Process works and how you can use it to start healing your past.
Lesson 2 Differentiating between Fact and Fiction
Learning to differentiate between fact and fiction is a very important part of understanding the source of our pain. And while we can be well aware of the event/s that triggered out pain, we might not yet be aware of the depth of our triggers and how they are at play in our stories.
In this lesson we explore the fact and fiction in your story and look for the pain beneath your pain so that you have a good understanding the real source of your pain.
Lesson 3 How do you feel?
A big part of being emotionally intelligent and confident is being able to accurately articulate your feelings. Some women have never been encouraged to explore and express their feelings and as a result they have a very limited vocabulary when it comes to naming emotions.
In this lesson we look at the importance of being able to identify and name our feelings and why this is important for you if you really, really want to move forward.
Lesson 4 What are your feelings telling you?
We have feelings for a reason. Their goal is not simply to annoy us or get in our way or make our lives uncomfortable. I like to think of them as demanding children who, once their needs are met, are happy to play quietly while you get on with what you have to do.
In this lesson we will explore what your feelings are seeking from you and what you need to do to be able to appease them.
Lesson 5 Turn Your Story Into Your Stepping Stone
A big part of your life has been consumed by your story but now that you understand your pain and you have a deeper understanding about how to heal it you will have the emotional space to rewrite your story.
In this lesson we will look at how you want your story to read from now on.
Lesson 6 Sharing your story
This week we have a lot to celebrate and I know that you will be amazed at how far you have personally progressed.
As I mentioned earlier, though, having your story published is a powerfully symbolic act of owning where you have come from and affirming where you are going, and has the potential to inspire others to take their own healing journey.
This turns your story into a positive legacy you can be proud of.
In this lesson we will look at how far you have come and how we can structure your story so that it is publishable and can help others to embark on their own healing journey to find their own inner Wonder Woman.
